What is Swift?
S.W.I.F.T stands for Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications. Swift is an authenticated computer messaging service that nearly 8,100 financial institutions in 207 countries and territories use as a reliable way to make bank to bank payments for over 30 years.

SWIFT members include banks, broker-dealers and investment managers, corporate users as well as market infrastructures in payments, securities, treasury (such as First Global) and trade.
